Samara Rankine

Samara graduated from Henley High School in 1998 and in 2001 received her Advanced Certificate in Physical Recreation (Fitness Leader & Aerobics Instructor) from Regency TAFE SA and since gaining this qualification she has taught freestyle group fitness classes including aerobics, step, cycle, tybo/kick box, body bar, sculpt, TTB, circuit, mindbody and boot camp for over 15 fitness centres in Adelaide including including Goodlife, EFM, Fernwood, Bodyworkshop, North Adelaide Fitness Centre and F45. She also has her Certificate III & IV in Fitness (Gym Instructor & Master Personal Trainer) and since 2013 she has been a Personal Trainer, starting out at Goodlife Health Clubs Glenelg. Samara has also worked as a Lecturer and Industry Assessor on the Certificate III & IV in Fitness courses for TAFE SA and the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers.

Samara’s enthusiasm for the fitness industry is fuelled by a passion for physical activity and helping others. She is an energetic person who loves working with people with varying fitness levels, abilities and goals. In addition to her extensive fitness experience she also has a strong grounding in Administration and Management, gained from completing two Bachelor Degrees in Administrative Management and Marketing and two Certificate IV’s in Training and Assessment and Frontline Management, as well as having full-time roles for over 10 years in Business Development, Business Management and HR

Duncan Rankine

Duncan graduated from Westminster High School in 1993 with aspirations of playing soccer at a high level, but due to injury he went on to study Fitness at Regency TAFE SA and ultimately gaining his Advanced Certificate in Physical Recreation (Fitness Leader). In 1996 he moved to Sydney to pursue his love of the Fitness Industry (while performing in a ‘boy band’ called ‘First Degree’). In 1999 he left the ‘boy band’ to work full-time in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer. He also began focusing on the Sport of Natural Bodybuilding and in 1998 he won Junior Mr Australia and in 2000 he won overall Natural Mr Sydney. Throughout 2000-2010 he worked in Sydney at various Fitness companies (including Fitness First, InShape, World Gym, Gold’s Gym and others). During this time he had the pleasure of working with many leading fitness professionals including Steve Willis (The Commando) and Michelle Bridges. He has completed many courses with Fitness Network, A.I.F. and other training providers both in Sydney and Adelaide.

In 2010 Duncan moved back to Adelaide to be close to family and not long after that in 2011 he won Natural Bodybuilding Mr Australia and then went on to compete at the World titles in New York placing 4th. In 2015 he competed and won Overall INBA Mr South Australia and Mr Australia. He then went on to compete at the Natural Olympia in Los Vegas and placed 4th. Throughout 2010-2010 he worked for major Fitness Companies in Adelaide including Goodlife, Anytime Fitness, AIPT and F45. He won various awards such as State Personal Training Manager of the year in 2013, National Campus Director of the Year for AIPT and various Sales and Management Awards.

In 2017 Duncan competed in his first Powerlifting competition and has since broken 7 Australian Powerlifting records and currently holds 2 Australian records for CAPO
